The Tojiro Narihira range is a traditional styled Japanese knife. With traditional single bevel edges of quality stainless steel & magnolia wood handles, these excellent knives combine traditional styling with modern blade making technology.

The Blade-

The blade on this knife is single beveled like all traditional Japanese knives. The single bevel plus the concave nature of the back of the blade allows for super fine and particular clean cuts. This is perfect when doing presentation work which is so important in Japanese cooking.

The steel is a Molybdenum-vanadium compound steel commonly featured on good quality German knives. There is a 3.5 degree back bevel on the knife just to aid with sharpening..

The Handle-

The Traditional Series features a eco-friendly Magnolia wood handle that is comfortable, durable and resistant to wear. The traditional, untreaed style of this handle is asethetically pleasing. Treat with a high quality wood finish oil to improve durability.
